Julia Fox Claims Kanye West 'Weaponized' Her Against Kim Kardashian
As the release of her memoir, "Down the Drain," draws nearer, Julia Fox has been offering glimpses into her personal life, particularly her connection with Kanye West. During an interview with The Los Angeles Times on Friday, Fox revealed that in 2022, when she was linked with the rapper, she felt like he was using her as a tool against his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
She expressed, "I thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation, but I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized."
While Fox initially believed she had a deep understanding of West and saw potential for a genuine connection, she was met with disappointment as he didn't treat her as she had hoped. She confided, "I just felt like his little puppet."

Her upcoming memoir will shed more light on their time together, although she mentioned she approached the subject with sensitivity. Interestingly, Fox never signed a non-disclosure agreement.
"I’m not signing a f-cking NDA just on principle,” she asserted. “I never have, and I never will... Unless it’s a professional opportunity, then sure.”
Although West and Fox's romance was brief, she believes it may have affected certain opportunities. The rapper faced repercussions, losing brand deals due to his controversial public statements.
“I know for a fact I’ve been up for certain things and couldn’t do it because of dating Kanye. It’s kind of wild,” she reflected. “It really wasn’t that big of a deal, but other people made it such a big deal.”

Following their separation, Fox took a break from dating, focusing on her two-year-old son, Valentino, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Artemiev.
“That romanticized idea of men doesn’t exist anymore,” she mused. “All the validation I could ever get, I get from my son—the love, the intimacy, the closeness. We co-sleep at night. I have all of that. I wouldn’t want anyone to come in and take my attention or time away from my son.”
