Tory Lanez Feels Like He Is a Target in Prison Following Sentencing in Megan Thee Stallion Case
Tory Lanez, following the 2020 sh**ting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion, received a 10-year prison sentence, a decision he is actively appealing. Recently, he sought bail, but the request was swiftly denied by a judge. Despite the legal setbacks, close sources affirm that Lanez remains optimistic.
In a recent development, Lanez was transferred to North Kern State Prison. This move ignited discussions about the facility's recent history of criminal incidents, ranging from violent altercations to tragic homicides. It was disclosed this week that Lanez is being held in Administrative Segregation. This entails a form of isolation, keeping him segregated from the general inmate population.

Reportedly, Lanez occupies a solitary cell, and whenever he leaves, he is placed in restraints. Additionally, he is not permitted to dine in the cafeteria alongside fellow inmates, as his meals are brought directly to his cell.
Even during outdoor activities in the yard, he is confined to a distinct area, away from other prisoners. While undoubtedly an isolating experience, it may be a precautionary measure for his safety. A source divulged to TMZ that Lanez is particularly apprehensive due to his high-profile status, feeling he is an immediate target.
“Tory is scared for his life and safety in prison. He feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status,” they explained. “He stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback.” The source went on to describe how Lanez continues to hold out hope that he'll be released. “He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers," they added. "So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. The whole thing is a mess.”
