The devastating news resonated with the hip-hop community, as evidenced by the outpouring of support in the comments. Acclaimed artists like Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, 03 Greedo, Young Scooter, as well as influential figures like Sway, Ebro, and Big Boi, expressed their condolences and sorrow.

According to a report from WCAU, a credible source close to the family confirmed that the 25-year-old man fatally shot was indeed YNG Cheese, leaving a void in the lives of those who loved him.

The police representative provided grim details of the incident, revealing that Devin was shot in the back and rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m. on that ill-fated Thursday.

The other victims of the sh**ting, a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the right leg and a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the left hip, are currently in stable condition. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the sh**ting remains an enigma.

In the face of this tragedy, the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit has assured that the investigation remains active and ongoing, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of justice.

At the time of writing, Gillie Da King had not yet publicly addressed the heartbreaking loss of his beloved son. Previously, Gillie Fest, an event that was eagerly anticipated later this month, now stands uncertain in the wake of this devastating news. The impact of this tragedy reaches far and wide, leaving a community in mourning and raising questions about the future of the event.
