The awful predicament of the policewoman behind the viral sound, "Help me, help me, e Dey Carry me go where I no know," has come to the attention of Nigerians thanks to stand-up comedian Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, better known as his stage name Continue Reading..

The comedian is seen with Mrs. Helen Otabhor, who has a bandage on her leg, in a video that was uploaded on his Instagram page.

Igosave claims that a vehicle who turned left at a checkpoint struck her while she was directing traffic and then ran away.

Igosave used the occasion to make a help-seeking appeal to Nigerians, claiming that she needs N1.5 million for medical care.

The comedian assured her that he would give her N500K. He urged all content providers who had utilized the woman's sound to assist her, including musicians, comedians, and artists. In his popular song "Peace Be Unto You (PBUY)," he especially urged Asake to assist the woman by using her music.

Sharing the video, he wrote:

“Our police work na wa o!

A call to all my Edo people and Nigerians home and abroad.
