Finally, despite rumors that the singer owes him money, popular artist Davido calls out Dammy Krane, reminding him of how he fed him for three years and gave him free verses as a gift when he was penniless.
On his social media posts, Dammy Krane had repeatedly sought attention from Nigerian musician Davido, claiming to be owed money.
In the midst of this ongoing battle, Davido addressed Dammy Krane on social media on Friday, October 27, remembering the kindness he had shown him years earlier when he was in need of help and was homeless.
Dammy Krane has previously discussed a 13-year-old incident on his social media presence.
He wrote: “who brought out this tweet factually I was the first person to call David ‘On the Beat is Davido’ when he produced “Pooner’ for me in 2010 ( 13 years ago) we was like Dbanj & Donjazzy”
Dammy Krane wrote on the same social media platform on October 27th, employing wordplay on Davido’s nickname ‘OBO’ to say, “Owe B Owe, Owe Owe One, DAVID-Owe.” Please pay me my money; I’m not asking you; it’s compensation for my labor! You don’t have to flee.”
Soon after, Davido replied on social media, saying that Dammy Krane's career benefited from the three verses he gave him, even if he was never compensated for them.
In addition, he talked about his verse fees and royalties, and how he hosted and fed Dammy Krane while he was homeless and lived at his Atlanta house.
