Mohbad's death, which occurred under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, led to his immediate burial the following day.

However, the situation took a surprising turn when his Body was exhumed roughly a week later for the purpose of conducting an autopsy, after which it was returned to the morgue.

In a recent interview with Stams TV, Elder Aloba, the father of the deceased rapper, revealed that some people were asserting that Mohbad was making appearances to them in the spiritual realm, possibly due to the fact that his body had not yet been laid to rest.

In light of these concerns, Mr. Aloba expressed his intention to contact the police to expedite the release of his son's remains, ensuring that the burial can proceed as soon as possible.

He explained, "The delay in conducting this autopsy is causing undue distress, as we did not anticipate it would take this long. It is disheartening to think that Mohbad's body is still being kept in limbo.

However, we recognize that we must abide by government procedures, as it is what the Nigerian public demands. After this interview, I plan to contact a senior police officer to ascertain if they have completed all necessary procedures so that we can proceed with the burial.

Mr. Aloba also acknowledged the prevailing belief among some individuals that Mohbad's spirit is making apparitions, a phenomenon attributed to his body not having been laid to rest. Thus, he emphasized the urgency of making the necessary arrangements for the rapper's burial.
