Investing.com –Canada’s main stock index, the S&P/TSX Composite index, were in the green by afternoon trading, reversing the morning’s losses.

On Wall Street, the S&P500 and also climbed as Treasury yields retreated, ahead of earnings this week from Big Tech, including Alphabet (NASDAQ:), Amazon (NASDAQ:), Meta and Microsoft (NASDAQ:).

In Canada, investors are also bracing for a monetary policy decision from the on Wednesday. Analysts are expecting a rate-hold from the BoC at 5% after last week’s cooler than expected inflation report.
