Minnesota State Patrol: one-vehicle rollover with injuries, 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, Minnesota 60 in mile 45, Lakeside Township, Cottonwood County. Paul Charles Anders, 59, of Yankton, South Dakota, was driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty westbound when he went off the roadway and the vehicle rolled. Anders and a passenger, Karla Renee Anders, 62, of Yankton, S.D., each sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Windom Area Health. Both individuals were wearing a seatbelt, and the airbag didn’t deploy.

Fire

JCSO: deputy responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle destroyed by fire along a township road near Minnesota 60, east of Heron Lake at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday. A 2002 Subaru reported stolen in Nobles County on July 18 was discovered to be totaled. The incident remains under investigation.
