King Charles undergoing treatment for unspecified cancer, palace says

Britain's King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer, according to Buckingham Palace. The cancer was discovered while he was being treated for an enlarged prostate. The 75-year-old monarch has begun a schedule of regular treatments and will postpone public-facing duties, but will continue with official business and office work. The palace said Charles is positive about his treatment and hopes sharing his diagnosis will assist those affected by cancer. Charles inherited the monarchy last year after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. His health has generally been good, with a non-cancerous growth removed from his face in 2008.
