According to a survey by the Human Flourishing Lab, 82% of US adults are Hopeful about their own futures, with an even larger portion (85%) hopeful about the future of their families. Additionally, three in four respondents felt hopeful about the future of their local communities. The survey found that hopefulness is felt across all demographic groups, with the exception of Black Americans, 65% of whom reported being hopeful about their community. The study also revealed that those with better perceived mental health expressed more hope, and 56% of respondents were reported being hopeful for the future of their country as a whole.
