A Texas jury has convicted Kaitlin Armstrong of murder in the shooting death of professional cyclist Anna "Mo" Wilson. Armstrong faces life in prison for killing Wilson, whom she believed had briefly dated her boyfriend. Wilson, a rising star in pro gravel and mountain bike racing, was shot three times in her apartment in Austin. Armstrong fled to Costa Rica after the murder, where she spent more than $6,000 on a nose job and attempted to establish herself as a yoga instructor. Armstrong's defense argued that the investigation was inadequate, but the jury found the evidence pointed solely to her as the suspect.
