Airlines are feeling the impact of the Israel-Hamas war, with bookings already hit

Airlines are experiencing a drop in Bookings following the Israel-Hamas war, with international flight bookings 20% below 2019 levels in the weeks after the attack. Major airlines suspended or reduced flights to Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, and air travel demand to and from other countries was also affected. Ticket issuance from the Middle East dropped by 12% after the attack, compared to a 3% decrease before. Flight ticket issuance from the Americas fell by 10 percentage points. United Airlines warned that the war would impact its profits, while Etihad Airways said demand to Israel has decreased. Emirates Airline remains optimistic about future demand.
