BS-III Petrol, BS-IV Diesel Vehicles Banned in Gurugram, Faridabad

The Haryana transport commissioner has banned the use of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles in Gurugram and Faridabad districts due to deteriorating air quality. The ban is in effect until November 30 or until the stage III of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) is lifted. Violators will face challan and legal action under Section 194 (1) of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. The district administration is urging residents to cooperate in controlling pollution. Compliance with the ban will be strictly enforced.
