Air Pollution: Delhi’s Toxic Haze Still On, AQI ‘Severe’; Kolkata, Mumbai Also Among World’s Most Polluted Cities

Delhi is experiencing severe Air Pollution with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 457, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. The pollution has been severe for the past three days and is expected to continue due to stubble burning and the upcoming Diwali festival. Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai are among the world's most Polluted Cities, with Delhi having the highest AQI at 483. The Delhi government has called for a ban on polluting vehicles entering the National Capital Region and requested a meeting with the environment ministers of neighboring states to address the issue.
