5,000 Myanmar nationals flee into China, face shortages

Around 5,000 Myanmar Nationals, including hundreds of children, have fled into China due to an ethnic army offensive in northern Shan state. The displaced individuals are currently in Yunnan province and are facing shortages of food, water, and supplies. They are sheltering in a former COVID-19 testing center, but supplies are scarce. Chinese authorities have provided tents for shelter, but the food provided by them is reportedly of poor quality. The displaced individuals are unable to contact their families and are requesting to either move to a refugee camp in Shan state or receive adequate food and water at the current shelter.
