Gaza sit-in protest at King’s Cross station banned by Transport Secretary

Transport Secretary Mark Harper has banned a sit-in protest for Gaza at King's Cross station in London due to the risk it poses to train services. The British Transport Police requested the ban, with participants facing arrest if they take part. However, despite the ban, hundreds of protestors have gathered at the station. Harper stated that while peaceful protest is important, it cannot disrupt or intimidate others. He granted consent for the police to make an order under the Public Order Act to prohibit the planned protest.
