Former gang leader accused of killing Tupac Shakur pleads not guilty in Las Vegas

Former gang leader Duane Keith "Keffe D" Davis pleaded not guilty to orchestrating the drive-by shooting that killed rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996. Davis is the only person alive who was in the vehicle from which shots were fired and the only person charged in the case. He was arrested in September after a search warrant was served at his home in suburban Henderson. Prosecutors allege that Shakur's killing was a result of competition between East Coast and West Coast gangs. Davis implicated himself in the killing in interviews and a 2019 memoir.
