An eight-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack in Odisha's Nuapada district. The boy was playing in front of his house when the leopard grabbed him and took him into the forest. Villagers armed with sticks and torches searched for the boy and found him under a large stone with severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. This is the first time that wild cats have intruded into the Dharambandha area, according to a district forest official.
