Maine mass killing suspect has been found dead, law enforcement tells AP

Robert Card, the suspect in the mass shooting in Maine, has been found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to law enforcement officials. Card was wanted in connection with the shootings that took place at Schemengees Bar and Grille and Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley in Lewiston. He was a U.S. Army reservist who had undergone a mental health evaluation in July after exhibiting erratic behavior during training. The shootings left 18 people dead and 13 injured. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the attack. Schools, public buildings, and many businesses in Maine remained closed following the incident.
