Driver allegedly blows five times legal limit after speeding

A driver in northern Victoria was allegedly caught driving at 178km/hr in a 110km/hr zone. The police claim that the driver had a blood alcohol content level of 0.284, which is five times the Legal Limit. The 42-year-old man from Geelong was also found to be unlicensed. As a result, his car was impounded for 30 days and he received an immediate driving ban. He is expected to appear in court at a later date.
