Air Quality Worsens across Delhi, to Remain ‘Poor to Very Poor’ for Next Few Days

The air quality in Delhi has worsened, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) predicted to reach 'very poor' levels after the festive period. The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) forecasts that the AQI will remain at 'poor' to 'very poor' levels for the next few days. The drop in temperatures and stagnant wind conditions are contributing to the high levels of pollution, which has led to respiratory illnesses among residents. The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) has issued an advisory for all buses traveling to Delhi to be electric or use cleaner fuels.
