An investigation is being conducted into the death of a prisoner at Invercargill Prison. Police officers, including a photographer, visited the facility four weeks ago. A report has been prepared for the Coroner, who will determine the cause of death and whether or not the individual's name will be released to the media. RNZ has requested a comment from the Department of Corrections.
