Settlement would stop U.S. government from separating families at border

The Biden administration has proposed a Settlement that would allow migrant families who were separated at the southern border to stay in the U.S. for three years, apply for asylum, and receive aid. If approved by a judge, the settlement would also prevent the government from Separating Families for at least eight years. The details of the settlement were discussed by Amna Nawaz and Lee Gelernt from the ACLU.
