A 17-year-old girl from Thane, India, was allegedly kidnapped by her 19-year-old boyfriend while she was traveling alone on a local train from Badlapur to Vikhroli on October 12. The girl's family reported her missing, and the police traced her to a village in Satara district, over 250 km away. The police located her on Sunday and arrested the boyfriend. Both of them were handed over to the Kalyan GRP where a case of kidnapping was registered.
