Exotic reptile ‘Frank the Tank’ found in Richmond, B.C., spinach field

An Exotic tortoise named Frank the Tank was found in a Spinach Field in Richmond, B.C. and may be put up for adoption if deemed healthy by the SPCA. The male juvenile sulcata tortoise weighs close to 35 pounds but could grow to be four or five times that size. Sulcata tortoises are known for their ability to dig and reinforce walls, so potential owners should be prepared for their long lifespan of up to 150 years and have a succession plan in place. Frank the Tank is currently being cared for by the Maple Ridge SPCA.
