A large Golf Clubhouse in Victoria's Yarra Valley has been destroyed by a fire that broke out at around 1.43pm. The 180-square-metre building at Eastern Golf Club in Yering was successfully evacuated and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters, paramedics, police, and the club's power and gas providers responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and a community advice warning has been issued for smoke in the area. The golf club, which offers meeting and events facilities, is located approximately 38km north-east of Melbourne's CBD.
