Navratri 2023: Ghatasthapana Muhurat, Puja Samagri, Rituals and Significance

Shardiya Navratri 2023 is a nine-day festival celebrated by Hindus to honor Goddess Durga's victory over the demon Mahishasura. The festival begins on October 15 and ends on October 23, with Ghatasthapana on the first day and Maha Navami on the last day. Navratri Parana, the breaking of the fast, is observed on the tenth day, also known as Vijayadashmi or Dussehra. This year, Ashwina Ghatasthapana will fall on Sunday, October 15, with a recommended time slot for the ritual. Devotees worship Maa Shailputri on this day.
