Five pedestrians rushed to hospital after car mounts footpath in Sydney

Five Pedestrians were hospitalized after being hit by a car in Sydney's inner west. The car, a Ford Ranger, crashed into a parked Toyota Camry before mounting the footpath and hitting the pedestrians and another parked car. The Camry was being used as a ride-share vehicle at the time. The pedestrians and the occupants of the Camry were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ranger, a 19-year-old man, was arrested and is assisting with inquiries. Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
