Coast Guard Rescues Chinese National Suffering from Stroke off Mumbai Coast

The Indian Coast Guard rescued a 49-year-old Chinese National Suffering from a stroke combined with hemiplegia from a Panama-flagged ship off the Mumbai coast. Hemiplegia is one-sided muscle paralysis or weakness caused by a brain-related issue or condition. The patient, along with an attendant, was handed over to the vessel's agent in stable condition for further medical management. The Coast Guard braved extremely low visibility conditions to undertake the medical evacuation.
