Only 9 percent of Americans support car companies over striking auto workers, AP-NORC polls shows

A recent poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that only 9% of Americans Support Car Companies in their dispute with Striking Auto Workers. The majority of Americans (36%) sympathize with the workers and their demand for higher pay, while the rest either support both or neither side. The poll also revealed that 51% of respondents believe labor unions help U.S. workers, while 15% believe they hurt working people. Overall, there is evidence of increasing support for labor unions in the United States.
