10 Minute School aims to democratize education for Bangladeshi students

Bangladeshi edtech startup 10 Minute School has raised $5.5 million in pre-Series A funding, the highest seed-stage funding for a Bangladeshi startup to date. The company aims to democratize access to education in Bangladesh, where many rural areas lack good learning centers and students often have to travel to the capital city for university admission exams. 10 Minute School offers live-streamed classes, pre-recorded lessons, test preparation, and personalized quizzes through a smartphone app. The funding will be used to invest in technology, content, and operations, as well as to support the company's goal of providing personalized learning experiences for students using AI.
