The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a second supplementary charge sheet against two Accused individuals in a case related to the seizure of a large amount of explosives in West Bengal in 2022. This brings the total number of accused in the case to nine. The accused have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Explosive Substances Act, and the Arms Act. The investigation revealed that the accused were involved in the illegal supply of explosives to various illegal miners. The case was registered after the seizure of electric detonators and explosives from a vehicle in Birbhum.
