Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has been granted custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until October 10 in connection with the alleged Delhi Liquor Scam. The ED claims that Singh was a key conspirator who collected kickbacks from liquor groups in the Delhi Excise Policy. The ED also alleges that Singh's associates received cash bribes at his residence. The agency states that Singh received proceeds of crime amounting to Rs. 2 crore ($270,000) in the liquor scam.
