Simone Biles leads U.S. team to seventh consecutive gymnastics title

Simone Biles led the U.S. women's gymnastics team to their Seventh Consecutive team title at the world championships. The team, which also included Shilese Jones and Leanne Wong, scored a total of 167.729 points to narrowly beat Brazil and France. This victory made Biles the most decorated female gymnast in history, with a total of 26 world championship medals, 20 of them gold, and seven Olympic medals. She surpassed Larisa Latynina of the Soviet Union, who held the previous record.
