U.S. women break record at gymnastics world championships with 7th straight win

The U.S. women's Gymnastics team, led by Simone Biles, won their seventh consecutive team title at the gymnastics world championships. The team, consisting of Biles, Shilese Jones, Skye Blakely, and Leanne Wong, edged out Brazil and France with a total of 167.729 points. This victory broke the tie with the Chinese men for the longest streak of consecutive team titles. Biles also became the most decorated female gymnast in history with a total of 26 world championship medals, including 20 gold medals, along with her seven Olympic medals.
