The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a second accused in a case involving a Transnational Conspiracy by Myanmar and Bangladesh-based terror outfits to wage war against India. The accused, Seiminlun Gangte, was arrested by Manipur Police and handed over to the NIA. The investigation revealed that militant groups from Myanmar and Bangladesh are conspiring with Indian militant leaders to incite violence and create ethnic strife in Manipur. The NIA had previously arrested another individual, Moirangthem Anand Singh, in connection with the case.
