Former Microsoft executive, Panos Panay, has been appointed to lead Amazon's Devices & Services (D&S) business. Panay, who spent over 19 years at Microsoft, most recently as EVP and Chief Product Officer, will begin his new role at the end of October. His appointment follows the departure of Amazon's hardware chief, Dave Limp, who confirmed he would be stepping down by the end of the year. Panay's extensive experience in hardware and integrated services could signal a shift in focus for Amazon's Devices & Services division.
