Two people taken to hospital after NSW police chase ends in fiery crash

Two people have been hospitalized after a car crashed and caught fire during a Police Chase in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. The chase began when the driver failed to stop when directed by the police. The car lost control on an unsealed road, crashed into a power pole, and burst into flames. The driver, a 21-year-old man, is in a serious but stable condition at Gold Coast University Hospital. The passengers, a 17-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man, received medical assessment at the scene. The girl was taken to the hospital for observation, while the man is assisting the police with their investigation.
