Former Union minister and Bjp Leader Shahnawaz Hussain underwent an angioplasty procedure at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after showing signs of a heart attack. The procedure was performed after an angiography revealed a blockage on the right side of his heart. The angioplasty was successful and there was no damage to his heart muscle. Prior to the procedure, Hussain had complained of high blood pressure. He had previously been suffering from acidity and underwent an ECG and 2D echo test before the angioplasty was performed.
