Malians react to election postponement

The ruling junta in Mali has announced the postponement of the presidential Election originally scheduled for February 2024. The junta attributes the delay to technical reasons, including the adoption of a new constitution and an electoral list review. The government has not yet announced new dates for the elections, and legislative elections originally scheduled for the end of 2023 have also been delayed.
