India has been carrying out extensive Construction Activities at the China Border in the last three years, according to the Director General of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Lt General Rajeev Chaudhry. The Indian government has increased the budget for infrastructure development projects, with around 300 BRO projects worth Rs 8,000 crore completed in recent years. Chaudhry stated that the BRO is using new techniques and machines for snow clearance, reducing the closure time of roads in high altitude areas. He also emphasized that road infrastructure development benefits both security forces and remote communities.
