Car bombing at Somali checkpoint kills at least 15, officials say

A Car Bombing at a security checkpoint in Beledweyne, Somalia, has killed at least 15 people and injured 40 others. The director-general of the Hirshabelle Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management confirmed the deaths and stated that 20 of the wounded are in critical condition. The city has been the center of the Somali government's military offensive against al-Shabab.
