90 feared dead after Myanmar junta boat sinks in rough river waters

Approximately 90 people, including students, teachers, and military personnel, are feared dead after a military junta supply boat sank in the Chindwin River in Myanmar's northern Sagaing region. The boat hit a rock and overturned in a rough area near Mingin township. Six people have been confirmed to have survived, while 20 survivors have been rescued and 10 bodies have been collected. Rescue operations have been halted due to the river's strong current. The military is investigating the incident, and preparations are being made to recover the sunken vessel.
