12-Year-Old Saves Man Who Passed Out Underwater, Credits CPR Learned from ‘Stranger Things’

A 12-year-old boy named Austen MacMillan saved his behavioral therapist, Jason Piquette, from drowning by using CPR that he learned from watching the TV show "Stranger Things." While swimming together, Piquette lost consciousness after holding his breath underwater for about 30 seconds. MacMillan quickly pulled him out of the water and performed CPR, successfully reviving him. The entire incident was captured on a ring camera. Piquette believes he lost consciousness due to the breath-holding exercise. MacMillan's quick thinking and knowledge of CPR from the show saved Piquette's life.
