Pinterest is introducing a new feature called "Collages" to its main app, inspired by its Gen Z-focused collage-making app Shuffles. The feature allows users to cut out images and build interactive collages of products and visual content they find inspiring. These collages are shoppable, with users being redirected to retailers' websites when they tap on the items. Brands can also update their catalogs to allow users to add their products to their collages. Pinterest is focusing on being a shopping destination, with CEO Bill Ready stating that more than half of Pinterest's users are there to shop.
