British parliamentary researcher arrested on suspicion of spying for China

A British Parliamentary Researcher has been arrested on suspicion of spying for China, raising concerns about a major security breach at Westminster. The man, who is connected to several senior Tory MPs, including Tom Tugendhat and Alicia Kearn, worked alongside them on international policy, particularly relations with Beijing. He was arrested along with another man on suspicion of espionage-related offences. Scotland Yard has stated that both men have been released on police bail until early October. Security officials believe that the suspect may have been recruited during his time living and working in China.
