Flash floods in Turkey kill at least 10 people

Flash Floods caused by torrential rains have killed at least 10 people and injured more than a dozen in Turkey, including in the country's largest city, Istanbul. The downpour started on Tuesday, causing flooding in several districts of Istanbul. Two people died and 31 were injured in the city, with subway stations and a hospital's first floor being inundated by floodwater. The floods also affected other provinces in Turkey, with five people killed in Kirklareli province. The extreme weather follows record high summer temperatures and has also impacted neighboring Greece and Bulgaria.
