Aditya-L1 Solar Mission’s Launch Rehearsal Is Complete: ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has completed the Launch Rehearsal and internal checks for its Aditya-L1 mission, which aims to study the Sun. The spacecraft will be launched on September 2 from the Sriharikota spaceport. Aditya-L1 will provide remote observations of the solar corona and in situ observations of the solar wind at the Sun-Earth Lagrangian point. It will be the first dedicated Indian space mission for studying the Sun. The mission will carry seven payloads to observe different aspects of the Sun, such as the photosphere, chromosphere, and corona.
