Crews put out brush fire that prompted temporary evacuation order on Maui

A Brush Fire on Maui, Hawaii prompted the Temporary Evacuation of residents in Lahaina. The fire burned 10 acres before being brought under control by firefighters, who used a helicopter and hoses. The evacuation order was lifted at 5 p.m., allowing residents to return home. The fire no longer posed a threat, but firefighters remained in the area. The previous wildfire in downtown Lahaina on August 8 resulted in 115 deaths and the destruction of 2,000 structures. The area is currently experiencing drought conditions.
