Bronny James’ cardiac arrest caused by congenital heart defect, spokesperson says

Bronny James, son of NBA player LeBron James, suffered a cardiac arrest during a basketball workout due to a Congenital Heart Defect, according to a family spokesperson. He was hospitalized and later seen by doctors at different medical centers. Bronny had committed to playing basketball at the University of Southern California (USC) but did not join the team's European tour. Another USC basketball recruit had a similar cardiac arrest last year but returned to playing after treatment.
